Sun of a Beach

Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I'm using the artwork of PinUpToons
which you can purchase here
Font of choice - I'm using Galapogos here
Mask_71 Kreations here – I don’t recall where I got this mask from.
If you know who created it please email me so I can give proper credit.
Animation Shop - optional

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 600 x 600 blank canvas. Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 3 as a new layer. Use your magic wand and click inside each frame. Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.

Copy and paste a paper of choice beneath the frame. Resize 50%. Invert and tap the delete key.

Selections/Invert. New Raster Layer beneath the frame layer. Effects/3D Effects/Cutout:
Vertical & Horizontal: 5
Opacity & blur: 25
Shadow color: black
OK

Repeat the above step accept change the vertical and horizontal to -5.

Copy and Paste Sticker 2 (sailboat) as a new layer. Resize 50%. Position just above the paper layer in your layer’s pallet in the top frame.

Copy and paste Sticker (mermaid) as a new layer just above your paper layer. Resize 60% and position in the bottom frame.

Copy and paste Sticker 4 (dragonfly) as a new layer. Resize 40%.

Copy and paste Bow 2 as a new layer. Resize 40%.

Copy and paste a deck chair of choice as a new layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Copy and paste seashells as a new layer. I resize mine 30%.
Highlight your white canvas. New Raster Layer. Select All. Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection. Deselect. Apply your mask. Merge Group. Repeat with a different paper and then move one of the mask layers down slightly.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name. I gave mine an inner bevel:
Bevel 2
Width: 10
Smoothness: 40
Depth: 2
Ambience: 34
Shininess: 10
Color: white
Angle: 315
Intensity: 50
Elevation: 20
OK

If you don’t want to animate then save your tag.

Onto animation:
In PSP copy your name. Carry into Animation shop:
Edit/Paste as New Animation.

Click on Effects/Insert Image Effects.
Under Effect you want to choose Underwater.
Effect Length: 1.3 sec
Frames per second: 6
Click Customize
Under Effects:
Apply Sunlight Dappling
Sun Intensity: 25

Liquid Properties:
Water Depth: 20

Waves:
Wave 1: X -24, Y 61
Wave 2: X 0, Y 33
Wave 3: X 11, Y 83
Wave 4: X 50, Y 72
Wave 5: X 18, Y 47
Wave 6: X 21, Y 15
Wave 7: X 52, Y 24
Wave 8: X 36, Y 0
Wave 9: X 12, Y -49
Wave 10: X -19, Y -26
Wave 11: X -48 Y -3
Wave 12: X -29, Y 17
Wave 13 – 16: X 0, Y 0
Click Ok, and then OK again.

Your name should not have a 8 frames. Highlight and delete Frame 1.

Go back into animation shop. Close out your name layer. Copy Merge and carry into AS. Edit/Paste as new animation. Press Ctl + L, tap on the L key until you have a total of 7 frames.

Highlight your animated name. Press Ctl + A. Copy.

Highlight your duplicated image. Ctl + A. Click on the Propagate Paste icon at the top of the screen (it looks like 3 sheets of paper with the corners folded down). Press Ctl + E. Move your name into position.

Animation/Frame Properties.
Change the number to 20. Watch your animation by pressing the icon at the top of the screen that looks like a movie strip. If you’re happy with it then save your tag.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and stuck through the animation. I just love adding water animation to my summer tags – hehehe
