Girly Girl Through and Through

Supplies
1 tube of choice - I used the beautiful artwork of Karen Middleton here
Font of choice - I used Aquarelle here
Weescotlass Mask 297 here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Image/Canvas Size
700 x 700
OK
Delete Raster 11, 9, 7, 6, and 5.
Flood fill Raster 1 white.


Highlight Raster 2.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster Layer.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Rasters 3, 4, and 8.

Highlight Raster 10.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Flood will with a gradient of choice.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the heart an inner bevel:



Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.


Add your embellishments. I used:
Bougainville 1 & 2: Resize 60%
Bow 2: Resize 25% Free rotate left 40 degrees
Binder Clip 1: Resize 50% Free rotate right 50 degrees
Bead String 1: Resize 40%
Hippo 2: Resize 35%
Hippo 1: Resize 30%
Butterflies 1 & 2: Resize 25%
Vine 1: Resize 60%. I used my Freehand Selection tool to outline it and gave it a feathered effect.
Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select all.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate.


Add your copyrights.


Add your name.
Give it the same inner bevel.


Resize all layers 80%.

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and Element 6 as a new layer.
Resize 85%

Use your Magic Wand and click inside the middle window.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Highlight your white background.
New Raster Layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the Mask.
DO NOT MERGE GROUP YET!

Highlight the Paper layer.
Copy and paste Element 38 as a new layer.
Move into position.
See my tag for reference.
Lower the Opacity to about 67.

Copy and paste Element 5 as a new layer.
Resize 90%
Move into position.
Lower the Opacity to about 44.
Copy and paste Element 24 as a new layer.
Resize 200%
Lower the Opacity to about 59
Merge Group.

Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Element 17: Resize 35%
Element 29: Resize 80% Free rotate left 15 degrees
Element 22: Resize 50%
Element 26: Resize 40% Duplicate/Resize 70%

Type out the words “Nighty Night”
Give it a slight inner bevel:



Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it the same inner bevel.

Resize all layers 80%.

Valentine Eyecandy

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.
All the filters used in this tutorial are optional and using the ones in your PSP program can work just as well. Toying with the filters in your PSP program is half the fun!

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~
Open up the template.
Shift + D
Close out the original.
Delete Rasters 11, 10, Heart Frame, and Heart layers.
Flood fill Raster 1 white.

Highlight the Large Rectangle layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with a gradient that will match the tube you’re using. (If you’re using the tube I used, I used the yellow and brown colors from one of the papers in the kit.)
Use these settings:

Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply Filters Unlimited 2.0 -
Choose Special Effects 1 - Aged Film
Apply the default settings
 
Copy and paste 8 as a new layer just above your gradient layer.
Resize 25%
Move into position near the top of your gradient.
See my tag for reference.
Duplicate/Flip
Duplicate/Free rotate 90 degrees.
Duplicate/Mirror

Merge Visible all the stitch layers.

Highlight your gradient layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Invert
Highlight the merged stitch layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and Paste 7 as a new layer.
Resize 25% and 25%.
Position at the bottom left corner of your gradient layer above your stitching.
Duplicate/Flip
Duplicate/Mirror
Duplicate/Flip

Highlight Square Layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Check Invert in your color pallet.
Flood fill with your inverted gradient color.
DO NOT DESELECT.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Highlight Square Frame layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat

We’ll come back to the frame.
For now, make Paper 2 from the kit active.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur
Radius: 10
OK
Copy

Make your working canvas active.
Edit/Paste Into Selection
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow
Default Settings
OK
Apply it once again.
Deselect.

Give your frame a slight inner bevel:



Highlight the Diamond Layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Flood Fill with your gradient.
Selections/Modify/Contract by 5
OK
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow
Same settings.
Apply it once again.
Give it the same inner bevel.

Highlight the Diamond template layer once again.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Modify/Contract by 2.
New Raster layer below the your diamond frame layer.
Invert your gradient again.
Flood fill.
DO NOT DESELECT.

Highlight your tube layer.
Duplicate/Mirror
Position beneath your diamond frames.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Change the Properties to Hard Light.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Copy and paste 9 as a new layer.
Resize 25% and 70%
Position behind the top Diamond layer.
Duplicate twice and position them beneath the remaining 2 diamonds.

Copy and paste 2 as a new layer.
Resize 25%
See my tag for position.

Copy and paste 5 as a new layer.
Resize 25% and 50%
Position on each side of the heart.

Copy and paste 1 as a new layer.
Resize 30%
Position behind each corner of the square frame where your tube is.

Type out your name.
Free rotate left 15 degrees.
Apply the same inner bevel.

Crop your image.

Highlight your white background.
New Raster Layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
(I used Paper 2)
Deselect.
Apply Xenofex - Show Door - default settings.
Apply the mask.
Use your Pick tool and pull the sides out slights.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Resize all layers 80%.

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.
Copy and Paste Element 38 as a new layer.
Resize 80%
Free rotate left 90 degrees
Use your Magic Wand and click inside the frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection or flood fill with a gradient.
Deselect.

Copy and paste Element 42 as a new layer.
Mirror/Resize 65%
Move into position outside of the frame.
(See my tag for reference)
Paste Element 42 again.
Move it below the frame and into position.
(See my tag for reference)
Use your Magic Wand and click inside the frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
Selections/Invert.
Highlight the owl that’s behind the frame.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the properties to Soft Light.

Highlight the owl that’s on the outside of the frame.
Close the layer out….now we can decorate the frame without the owl being in our way.

Copy and paste Element 5 as a new layer.
Mirror.
Place behind the frame.

Paste Element 5 again as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Free rotate left 45 degrees.
Move into position.
Paste Element 5 once more.
Resize 50%
Move into position.

Copy and paste Element 3 as a new layer.
Image/Mirror
Resize 35%
Move into position.
Copy and paste Element 3 again.
Resize 40% and move behind the frame.
See my tag for refrence. - the leaves peek out from the bottom left of the frame.
Duplicate and move so that it peeks out at the top right of the frame.
Duplicate/Mirror
Move into position right next to the other.
Again, see my tag for reference.
Copy and paste Element 2 as a new layer.
Resize 30%
Mirror.

Copy and paste Element 1 as a new layer.
Resize 25%.
Move into position next to the other rose.
Copy and paste Element 6 as a new layer.
Mirror/Resize 60%
Move into position behind the bottom left of the frame.
Copy and paste Element 32 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Copy and paste Element 30 as a new layer.
Free rotate right 30 degrees.
Move into position so that it looks like it’s hanging from below the bow.
Copy and paste Element 23 as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Open up your owl layer.

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Use your Pick Tool and pull the sides out slightly.
Merge Group.
Add your credits.
If you only used this kit to create your tag please credit Kat

Copy and paste Element 44 as a new layer.
Move into position beneath the frame.

Change the Properties to Luminance Legacy.

Close out your white background.
Merge Visible.
Re-open your white background.
Copy and paste Element 5 as a new layer.
Image/Mirror
Resize 60%
Place behind the frame.
Duplicate.
Move it in front of the frame.
Mirror.
Copy and paste Element 6 as a new layer.
Resize 70%.
Position behind the frame.

Copy and paste Element 44 as a new layer.
Image/Mirror
Resize 70%.
Position behind the frame.
Duplicate/Mirror/Flip.

Type out the word “Royalty”.
Give it a slight inner bevel:



Move the word into position at the top left of your canvas.

Add your name.
Give it the same inner bevel.

Add your credits.

Copy and Paste Frame 8 as a new layer.
Resize 65%
Use your Magic Wand and click inside the frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 15.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.

Now highlight the frame.
Free rotate left 10 degrees.
Highlight the paper.
Free rotate left 10 degrees.

Use your Magic Wand again and click inside the frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 15
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Close out your white background.
Merge Visible.
Reopen your white background.
Center your merged layer on your white canvas.
Add your embellishments. I used:
Heart 1: Resize 25% and 80%
Heart 2: Resize 25% and 80%
Diamond Brad 5: Resize 25% and 70% Free rotate right 25%
Feathers 1, 2, 3, and 4: Resize 25%
Flowers 3, 4, 5, and 6: Resize anywhere between 70% and 30%
Word Art 1: Resize 25%
Crop your image.
Highlight your white background.
New Raster Layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

In your color pallet:
Background: #ffffff
Foreground: Pattern (a paper of choice)
Stroke set to 2.
Type out each letter of your name - each letter using a different color paper from the kit and on a layer of its own - and turn each layer into a raster layer.
Once you have all the letters to your name typed out, arrange them how you like.
Merge Visible all the letters.

Highlight the merged letter layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Modify/Contract by 2
Give it a slight inner bevel:



Deselect.

Resize all layers 80%.

Bed of Roses


Supplies

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and Paste Frame 9 as a new layer.
Resize 65%
Use your Magic Wand and click inside the frame.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
DO NOT DESELECT.

Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Rosebud 1 & 2: Resize 60%. Use your eraser tool to erase the stem and leaves. Position behind the frame.
Baby’s Breath: Position behind the roses. Use your eraser tool to erase any what shows below the frame.
Fern: Resize 60%. Position behind the baby’s breath.
Bow 7: Resize 40%
Love Ribbon 1: Resize 25%. Position behind the bow. Erase any of the ribbon that you can see sticking out from behind the other ribbon.
Ruffled Pillow 2: Resize 20%. Free rotate right 20 degrees
Rose with Pearls 2: Resize 25%
Butterfly 3: Resize 25% and 50%. Free rotate 30 degrees
Dove: Resize 30%
Candle 1: Resize 50%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 10%
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:

 
Highlight your candle layer.
Duplicate twice for a total of 3 candle layers.
Rename each Candle 1, 2, and 3.
Highlight Candle 1.
Apply Eyecandy 5: nature - Fire

On the Settings Tab:

On the Basic Tab:

On the Colors Tab:

 
Repeat the above step with Candle 2 layer accept hit the random seed button once.

Repeat the above step with Candle 3 layer accept hit the random seed button once.

Close out Candle 2 and 3 layers.
Keep Candle 1 layer open.
Copy Merge

~Time to Animate~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Back in PSP.
Close out Candle 1.
Open up Candle 2.
Copy Merge.

Carry Into AS.
Edit/Paste /After Current Frame.

Back in PSP.
Close out Candle 1.
Open up Candle 3.
Copy Merge.

Carry Into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Ctl + A to highlight all frames.
Animation/Frame Properties
Change the display time to 25.

Animation/Resize Animation
Percentage of Original checked.
Width & Height set at 80
OK

View your animation.
If you’re happy then save.

Tell Me You Love Me First

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.
Copy and Paste Double Heart Frame 1 as a new layer.
Resize 85%
Use your Magic Wand and click in each frame.
New Raster layer below the frames.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection or flood fill with a gradient of choice.
DO NOT DESELECT.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the frames.
Move into position.
Selections/Invert.
Tap the delete key.
Selections/Modify/Feather
Number of Pixels: 43
Tap the delete key until you have a nice feathered look.
Deselect.
Apply the Xero-Porcelain effect to your tube layer - default settings.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Beads: Resize 60%. Duplicate/Free rotate right 15 degrees.
Rose 1: Resize 45%
Rose 2: Resize 40%
Locket 2: Duplicate/Mirror
Key 2: Resize 50% Free rotate left 80 degrees. Duplicate/Free rotate right 15 degrees
Highlight your white background.
New Raster Layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection or flood fill with a gradient of choice..
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
In your layers pallet, highlight the paper layer (or gradient layer, whichever you did…)
Copy and paste Stars 2 as a new layer.
Merge Group.
I discovered that neat trick this morning while trying to save time!
It doesn’t take much to impress me...hehehe

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:



Resize all layers 80%.

Use your Magic Wand and click in each frame.
New Raster layer below the frames.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube below the frames.
Position them exactly where you want them.
Duplicate/Mirror
Move the duplicated tube layer above the frame layer in your layers pallet.

Highlight your frame layer.
Using your Magic Wand click inside of each frames again.
Selections/Invert
Highlight the tube layer that’s just below the frame layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Apply Xerox - Porcelain:
Default settings.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Balloon 1 & 2
Bead 2
Bow 10: Resize 60%
Butterfly 5: Resize 60%
Butterfly 6: Resize 50%
Flower 11
Kiss 1
Ticket 1 & 2: Resize 60%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster Layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:



Resize all layers 80%.
