This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood Fill white.

Copy and paste Frame as a new layer.
Use your Magic Wand and click inside of all the squares.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and Paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Squiggle
Shiny Ribbon: Resize 40% Free rotate left 80 degrees
Tall Grass
Floral: Resize 40%
Birds Nest: Resize 40%
Butterfly: Resize 25% & 90%. Duplicate/Resize 80%
Bird: Resize 35%
Fantasy Bird: Resize 25%
Rainbow Globe: Resize 60%
Poser: Resize
Fairy Dust: Resize 60%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Copy and paste the unicorn above the paper as a new layer.
Merge Visible the paper and Unicorn.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.
If you only used the posers from the kit, and the particular poser you used has a copyright on it then please give them credit. If the poser you used doesn’t have any credit then please leave some credit for the kit designer…it would be greatly appreciated by them.

Duplicate the Fairy Dust layer twice for a total of 3 layers.
Rename them Dust 1, 2, and 3.
Highlight Dust 1 layer.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise:


Highlight Dust 2 layer.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise again accept hit the mix button twice.

Highlight Dust 2 layer.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise again accept his the mix button 3 times.

Close out Dust layers 2 & 3.
Keep Dust 1 layer open.

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:


Duplicate twice for a total of 3 layers.
Rename them Name 1, 2, and 3.
Apply the DSB Flux - Bright Noise to each layer the same way as you did the dust layers.
And like the dust layers, close out name layers 2 & 3, keeping only Name 1 layer open.

Resize all layers 80%.

Copy Merge.

~ Time to Animate ~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Go back into PSP.
Close out Name 1 & Dust 1 layers.
Open up Name 2 & Dust 2 layer.
Copy Merge

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Go back into PSP.
Close out Name 2 & Dust 2 layers.
Open up Name 3 & Dust 3 layers.
Copy Merge

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

View your animation.
If you’re happy then save.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood Fill white.

Copy and paste Glass Hearts as a new layer.
Use your Magic Wand and click inside of it.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 1.
New Raster layer below the heart.
Flood fill with a gradient of choice or you can Copy and Paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move it into the exact position you want it.
Duplicate/Mirror
Move the duplicate below the heart.
Highlight the heart layer.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 1.
Highlight your duplicated tube layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Opacity to Soft Light.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Flower 7: Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 60%
Bow 2: Resize 30%
Hanging Hearts: Resize 50%
Hanging Hearts 2: Resize 40%
Flower 6: Resize 50% Free rotate left 35 degrees. Duplicate/Mirror
Flowers 2 & 3: Resize 25%
Butterfly 3: Resize 25% and 60%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:


Resize all layers 80%.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood Fill white.

Copy and paste Hearts as a new layer.
Move it slightly up on the canvas.

Copy and paste Dangling Hearts as a new layer.
Move into position behind the hearts.

Copy and paste Candle as a new layer.
Resize 30%
Duplicate/Resize 80%
Move them into position.

Merge visible both candle layers.
Duplicate twice for a total of 3 layers.
Rename them Candle 1, 2, and 3.
Highlight Candle 1 layer.
Use your Freehand Selection Tool and outline the flame on each candle.
Apply Eyecandy 5: Nature - Fire:
On the Settings Tab:
Highlight Small, Candle
On the Basics Tab:

OK

Highlight Candle 2 layer.
Apply the fire effect again accept this time hit the random seed button once.

Highlight Candle 3 layer.
Repeat the above step.

Close out Candle layers 2 & 3.
Leave Candle layer 1 open.

Copy and paste Flower 8 as a new layer.
Resize 40%
Free rotate left 35 degrees.
Position behind the candles.
Duplicate/Mirror.

Now we’re going to write words over the tops of the hearts.
Make your Ellipse Tool active.
Line Style set on solid.
Width set at 2.0
In your color pallet:
Foreground: black
Background: Null
Now draw out a huge circle so that you form an arc over the tops of the hearts.
Set the colors in your color pallet to ones of your choosing for your words.
Move your cursor along the middle/top of the circle until you see a Rocking A then click your mouse. A Text box will appear.
Type out the words “Happy Valentine’s Day Baby” or whatever you choose.
Click Apply.
In your layers pallet click on the + sign.
Click on the eye of the New Ellipse layer.
Right lick your mouse on Vector 1 layer.
Convert to Raster layer.

Give the words a slight inner bevel:


Duplicate the Dangling Hearts layer and move them into position so that it looks as if they’re hanging from one of the letters above your hearts.

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it the same slight inner bevel.

Resize all layers 80%.
Copy Merge.

~Time to Animate~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Back into PSP.
Close out Candle 1 layer.
Open up Candle 2 layer.
Copy Merge.

Carry Into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back into PSP.
Close out Candle 2 layer.
Open up Candle 3 layer.
Copy Merge.

Carry Into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Ctrl + A to highlight all frames.
Animation/Frame Properties
Display Time: 25
OK

View your animation.
If you’re happy then save.

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Element 33 as a new layer.
Resize 80%.
Use your Magic Wand and click inside the frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
DO NOT DESELECT.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Element 58: Resize 80% - Image/Mirror/Flip
Element 13: Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
Element 8: Resize 50%
Element 20: Resize 50%
Elements 11 & 12: Resize 25% Free rotate 30 degrees
Element 59: Resize 60%.

Crop your image.

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur
Radius: 5
OK
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
I wrote mine out in purple and in an off white and moved each a little to give a drop effect.

Resizes all layers 80%.

Rose 2: Resize 25%. Mirror/Free rotate left 70 degrees
Butterfly 1: Resize 25% and 40% Free rotate 30 degrees
Butterfly 2: Resize 25% and 60%
Weeds 1 & 2: Resize 40%
Crop your image.

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood Fill white.

Copy and paste Heart Frame 3 as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Duplicate/Mirror
Move them both into position - see my tag for reference.
Use your Magic Wand and click the top frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.

Repeat the above step with the bottom frame.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position at the bottom of your canvas.
Duplicate/Mirror
Resize to a much larger size.
Position beneath both of the frames. Once you’ve got it exactly were you want it duplicate it again.
Move both duplicates so one is about each paper in your layers pallet.
Starting with the top heart - use your Magic wand and click on the paper that belongs to that heart frame.
Selections/Invert
Highlight your duplicated tube that’s above the paper and tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Opacity to Soft Light.

Highlight the paper to the bottom heart and repeat the above step.
Add your embellishments. I used:
Velvet Bow 2: Resize 40%
Diamond Rose 1: Resize 50% Free rotate left 20 degrees. Duplicate/Mirror
Diamond Rose 2: Resize 40% Free rotate left 30 degrees
Flower Branch 2: Resize 70%
Ribbon Heart Chain 1: Resize 70%
Butterfly 1: Resize 25% and 80%
Bling Heart Chain 1: Resize 70% - lower the opacity to 42

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 130%.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:

Resize 25%
Give it a slight inner bevel:



Position it over the top line of Raster 5.
Duplicate - position it over the bottom line.
Delete the template layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Tree: Resize 55%. Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 80%. Duplicate/Resize 80%
Tag Clip 5: Resize 70% Free rotate right 30 degrees. Use your eraser tool and erase the center of the clip so it gives the effect it’s clipped on the paper.
Chip Star 1: Resize 30%
Chip Star 2: Resize 25% and 80%
Button 1, 2, and 5: Resize 25% and 30%
Flower 2: Resize 25% and 50%
Pebble 2: Resize 25% and 25%
Flower 3: Resize 25% and 40%
Pebble 3: Resize 25%, 25%, and 80%
Flourish 2: Resize 40%
Beach Ball: Resize 50%
Starfish: Resize 30%
Starfish 1: Resize 30%
Shell 2: Resize 30%

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Highlight your white background.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~
Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the credit layer.
Highlight Top Rectangle layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster Layer.
Flood fill with a gradient of choice.
DO NOT DESELECT.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position it in the right side of the rectangle.
Duplicate and resize the tube so that it’s much larger. Be sure it’s below your other tube in your layers pallet and position to the left side in the rectangle. Lower the opacity to 32.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key on both your tube layers..
Deselect.
Delete template layer.
On your original tube layer apply Xerox - Porcelain:
Highlight Bottom Rectangle Layer.
Repeat the above steps using another tube.

Highlight Top Ding layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with a darker color gradient.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise: 20%

Repeat the above step with Bottom Ding layer.

Highlight Top Corner Dots layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with a dark color.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Bottom Corner Dots layer.

Highlight Bottom Rectangle layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with the darker color you used in your gradient of your rectangles.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Stripes layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with the light color you used in your gradient of your rectangles.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise: 20%
OK
Add your embellishments. I used:
Heart Twine 1: Resize 25% and 50%
Fabric Flower 4: Resize 25% and 40%
Fabric Flower 3: Resize 25% and 30%
Jeweled Lace 3: Resize 25% and 25% - Duplicate twice/position so that all pieces make one piece of lace going across the rectangle.
Dove Banner 2: Resize 25% and 70%
Dove 4: Resize 25% and 40%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 130%
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

Save your tag.

Highlight Rectangle layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer.

Tap the delete key.

Delete template layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Highlight Double Vertical Lines layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with a color that will match your tube.
(I used the dark color from one of the papers).
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Single Vertical Line layer.

Highlight Top Diamond layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
DO NOT DESELECT.

Copy and paste your close up image as a new layer.
Move into position over the diamond layer.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Selections/Modify/Feather
Number of Pixels:
42
OK
Tap the delete key until you have a nice feathered effect.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply the Xero - Porcelain effect:


Repeat the above step with Bottom Diamond layer using a different close up image.
Highlight Top Lines layer and repeat the same steps you used for the Double Vertical lines layer.

Copy and paste Flower 8 as a new layer.
Position it behind the rectangle layer.
Duplicate/Flip/Mirror.

Paste Flower 8 again.
Resize 50%
Position behind the diamond.
Duplicate/Mirror as you like.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Cushion 1: Resize 50%
Butterfly 3 & 4: Resize 40% Free rotate 30 degrees
Bow 8: Resize 50%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.
Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:


Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise: 20%
OK

Save your tag.

Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow
“Dark Cravings” is a FTU tagger size scrap kit created by Julie of Bits n Bobs and can be found on her blog here.
Julie, you have definitely outdone yourself in the Goth department!

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Image/Canvas Size
650 X 600
Delete the credit layer.
New Raster Layer.
Flood fill white.
Send to bottom.

Highlight Raster Frame layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster Layer.
Flood fill with a color of choice or Copy and paste a paper Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight inner bevel:


Repeat the above step with left and right frame layers.
Highlight Rectangle layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow -
Default settings.

Highlight Left Rectangle layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Flood fill with a gradient of choice.
Deselect.
Repeat the above step with Right Rectangle layer.
Highlight the Heart layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
DO NOT DESELECT
Delete the template layer.
Apply the Pool Shadow effect again - default settings.

Copy and paste Element 8 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Position near the bottom of the heart.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Lower the Opacity to around 44.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Element 22
Element 33: Resize 60%. Mirror.
Element 24: Resize 50%
Element 25: Resize 40%
Element 4: Resize 40% Mirror/Free rotate right 20 degrees
Element 3: Resize 30% Free rotate 90 degrees
Element 30: Resize 50%
Dark Cravings Poser: Resize 50%
Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Use your Pick tool and pull the sides out slightly.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.
If you used the Poser and erased the credit, please replace the credit on your tag - if you didn’t use a tube from a different artist.

Add your name.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Modify/Contract by 2
Apply the Pool Shadow effect again - default settings.
Give it the same inner bevel.

Resize all layers 85%.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Delete Raster 10, 9, Copy of Raster 9, and Raster 8.

Highlight Raster 2.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster Layer.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Open up the Grass element.
Use your Selection Tool and outline the first piece of grass.
Paste it onto your working canvas.
Resize 35%.
Once you have all the grass pieces copied, pasted, and resized arrange them in the circle - duplicate as you like, mirror as you like.
See my tag for reference.

Once you have all the grass pieces in position close out all your layers accept the grass pieces and merge visible.
Reopen all the layers.

Highlight the circle paper.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Invert
Highlight the merged grass layer and tap the delete key.
DO NOT DESELECT.


Create 3 new Raster layers above the merged grass layer.
Rename them Rain 1, 2, and 3.
Highlight Rain 1.
Apply Van Der Lee Snowflakes:


Adjust/Blur/Motion Blur:


Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen


Repeat the above steps with Rain 2 accept move the Random Seed bar to change the numbers.

Repeat the above step with Rain 3.

Once you have all 3 layers of rain made - deselect.

Highlight Raster 3 layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
DO NOT DESELECT.

Copy and paste Fairy House as a new layer.
Move into position - see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste the Rainbow as a new layer.
Move into position - see my tag for reference.
Arrange below the Fairy House in your layers pallet.
Duplicate twice for a total of 3 layers.
Rename them Rainbow 1, 2, and 3.
Highlight Rainbow 1.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise:


Highlight Rainbow 2.
Apply Bright Noise accept hit the mix button twice.

Highlight Rainbow 3.
Apply Bright Noise accept hit the mix button 3 times.

Highlight Raster 2 layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 6 layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Raster layers 5, Copy of Raster 5, and Raster 4.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Crystal Frame 1: Resize 75%
Frame 1: Resize 85%
Bow 4: Resize 70%
Tree: Resize 60%
Blossom: Resize 70%. Duplicate/Resize 70%
Sign: Resize 60%
Fairy 7 without Rose: Resize 55%. Mirror/Erase the credit.
Bud 1: Resize 50%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights
Place the fairy’s credit on your tag.

Add your name.
Give it an inner bevel:


Resize all layers 80%.

Close out Rainbow layers 2 & 3.
Close out Rain layers 2 & 3.
Copy Merge.

~Time to Animate~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Go back into PSP.
Close out Rain 1 and open up Rain 2.
Close out Rainbow 1 and open up Rainbow 2.
Copy Merge.

Carry Into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back into PSP.
Close out Rain 2 and open up Rain 3.
Close out Rainbow 2 and open up Rainbow 3.
Copy Merge.

Carry Into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

View your animation.
If you’re happy then save.
