On Halloween Night...

Supplies

1 tube of your choice - I used the wonderful artwork of Zindy S.D. Nielsen here.
This is a free tube found here.
Font of Choice - I used Abaddon here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 9 as a new layer.
Resize 65%
Free rotate left 10 degrees.
Click inside with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 2.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect for now.
Copy and paste Old Tree as a new layer below the frame.
Move into position.
Duplicate/Mirror/Move into position so you use the grass to decorated inside the frame.
Highlight the frame layer.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 3
Selections/Invert
Highlight each of the element layers and tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Close out your white canvas.
Merge Visible.
Reopen your white canvas.

Copy and paste Frame 10 as a new layer.
Resize 75%
Click inside with you Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 3.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Copy and paste Castle 2 as a new layer below the frame.
Move into position.
Duplicate/Move it above the frame in your layers pallet and close it out for now.
Highlight the original element layer.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Open up the duplicate castle layer and use your Eraser tool to erase everything but a few bats of your choice that you’d like to see on the tag.
Copy and paste Ghost 1 as a new layer.
Resize 30%
Move into position behind the castle so that it looks like it’s floating out from behind it.

Close out the merged layer and your white background.
Merge Visible.
Reopen all layers.
Move the merged layers into position - see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Flower 1: Resize 25% and 80%
Flower 4: Resize 25% and 80%
Old Tree - Use the grass only and erase the tree portion of it.
Pumpkin 3: Resize 30%
Pumpkin 4; Resize 25% and 70%
Beware: Resize 35%

Highlight your white background.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your credits.

Add your name.
Convert to a raster layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Modify/Contract by 1.
OK
Give it a slight inner bevel:


DO NOT DESELECT.
Apply the Inner bevel again.
Deselect.

Resize all layers 80%

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste a frame of your choice.
Click inside with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Flood fill with a gradient of choice.
Give it a texture of your choice.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position it to the left of the frame just a little.
Duplicate/Mirror
Move it below the frame.
Click inside the frame with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
Selections/Invert
Highlight the duplicated tube layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Soft Light.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Bead Line: Resize 60%
Flower: Resize 40%
Flower again: Resize 40% and 70%

Crop your image.

Highlight the white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Shift +D.
Close out the original.
Delete the top 2 layers.
Image/Canvas Size
700 X 500
Flood fill the background layer white.

Highlight Blue Rectangle layer.
Use your Target Tool and change the color of it to dark blue.
(I used a blue shade from one of the papers)

Highlight Purple Thick Rec layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:


Apply the pool shadow effect again.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Purp Circle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer above the paper.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Apply Brush Strokes:


Change the Properties to Soft Light.

Highlight Frame layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 11 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner bevel:


Give it a Drop Shadow with the color white and be Shadow on new layer is checked.
Use your Eraser Tool and erase the shadow on the outside of the frame.
Highlight the frame layer again.
Give it a drop shadow using the color black.
Use your Eraser Tool and erase along the inside of the frame.

Highlight Blue Circle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Highlight Frame 2 layer.
Repeat the same step used for Frame 1.

Highlight White Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Apply the Pool Shadow effect:
Same settings.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Purp Rectangle layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight the Shower Door layer.
Make your Target Tool active -
Change the Pink portion of the layer to a purple color used in the kit.
Change the blue portion of the layer to a blue color used from the kit.
Duplicate and move it down a bit so it stick out from the lower portion of your tag.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Element 26 - duplicate as many times as you like
Element 21: Resize 50%
Element 28: Resize 75%
Element 9: Resize 25%
Element 16: Resize 30%
Element 15: Resize 30%

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Once you've changed it to a Raster layer:
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Modify/Contract by 1
Apply the Pool Shadow Effect.
Give it a slight inner bevel 3 times.
Deselect.

Resize all layers 80%

Open up the template.
Shift +D.
Close out the original.
Delete the top 4 layers.
Image/Canvas Size
700 X 700
Flood fill the background layer white.

Highlight Raster 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:
Default Settings
OK
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 1 as a new layer.
Resize 65%
Move into position over the rectangle.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply Eyecandy 4000 - Gradient Glow:


Highlight Copy of Rectangle layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Circle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect for now.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move into position over the circle.
If you want the head of your tube to stick above the circle then duplicate your tube.
Highlight the template layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Highlight the original tube layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Highlight the copy of your tube and erase the bottom portion that sticks out from the circle.
Duplicate this layer and close it out for now.
Merge Visible the circle layer, original tube layer, and the copy of the tube.
Apply Xenofex 2 - Burnt Edges:


Open up the closed tube layer.
Erase the very bottom edge of it so that the burned edge comes through.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Tree/Duplicate/Mirror
Ribbon 3: Resize 60%
Skull 3: Resize 40%/Free rotate left 10 degrees
Flower 2: Resize 50%/Free rotate left 90 degrees
Chalis: Resize 65%/Duplicate
Leaves 2: Erase parts you don’t want to see
Butterfly 3: Resize 30%/Free rotate left 30 degrees
Sparkle 2: Resize 90%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the Mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:

Almost Autumn



Supplies

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Heart Frame 2 as a new layer
Resize 40%
Move to the left side of your canvas.
Duplicate/Mirror
Move to the right side of your canvas.

Click inside one of the frames with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Flood fill with a gradient of choice - if you like, give it a texture.
Copy and paste your tube below the frame.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Paste your tube again. It needs to be slightly larger that your tube so resize accordingly.
Tap the delete key.
Change the Properties to Soft Light and move this tube below your other tube in the layers pallet.

Close out your white canvas layer and the frame that’s on the right side.
Merge Visible.
Reopen all layers.

Repeat the above step with your right frame.

Use your Selection Tool set on Rectangle and create a rectangle behind the frames - see my tag for reference.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with a light color of your choice.
Apply DSB Flux Bright Noise:
Intensity: 39
Mix checked
OK
New Raster layer
….we’ll come back to our working canvas in a bit.

Open up Paper 6.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Effects/Texture Effect/Mosiac Glass
Default settings
OK
Copy
Close it out as you won’t need it any more.

Highlight working canvas.
Paste into Selection.
Apply Tramages: Tow the Line
Default settings
OK
Deselect

Use your Selection Tool again still set on Rectangle.
Create a thin rectangle - see my tag for reference.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with a matching dark color of your choice.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise - same settings.
Deselect.
Apply Eyecandy 4000 - Gradient Glow:


Free rotate left 15 degrees.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Doodle: Resize 40%/Duplicate/Mirror
Acorn: Resize 25%
Acorn: Resize 25% and 50%
Leaves of your choice: Resize 25%

Crop your Image

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the Mask.
Merge Group.

Use the Bambino font and type out the word Autumn.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:


Edit/Copy Merge

~Time to Animate~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.
Ctrl + L - tap the L key until you have 5 frames.
Edit/Copy
Highlight your tag frames.
Ctrl + A to be sure all frames are highlighted
Ctrl + E and place the butterfly where you like.

View your animation.
If you’re happy with it then save.
