Cheerful Valentine

Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the artwork of Elias Chatzoudis at MPT
Font of Choice - I used BlackJack Regular here
Gem Mask 128 here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Open up the mask.
You’ll be using it through this tutorial.
Please refer to my tag for element placement throughout this tutorial.

Copy and paste 25 as a new layer.
Click inside each of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 10.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 10 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Close out your white background.
Merge Visible.
Reopen your white background.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move your tube and frame into position.

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Copy and paste 60 as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Position to the left side of your canvas.
Duplicate/Mirror
In your layers pallet move it just above the mask layer.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Copy and paste 46 as a new layer just above the mask layer.
Move into position.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your embellishments. I used:
43: Resize 40%/Free rotate left 15 degrees
16: Resize 50%
21: Erase the butterflies you don’t want.

Add your credits.

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:


Resize all layers 80%.
