DSB Flux - Bright Noise

“Liki Tiki ” is a tagger size scrap kit created by Moody Designz and can be purchased from Butterfly Blush Designs. You can visit her blog here. Thank you Moody for such a fun kit!

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 110%
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 600
OK
Open up the background layer.
Flood fill white.
Delete the top 9 layers.
Doesn’t leave much, does it?!

Highlight Black Frame 1 layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply a slight Inner bevel:


Repeat the above step with Black Frame 2, Gray Frame 1, and Gray Frame 2 layers.

Highlight Square Back 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Tiki Bar as a new layer above the paper.
Resize 40%
Move into position - see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Square Back 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Umbrella Chair as a new layer above the paper.
Resize 50%
Move into position - see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Palm Tree 2: Resize 60%/Mirror
Palm Tree 1: Resize 50%/Mirror
Coconut Drink: Resize 25% and 25%
Tiki Mask 2: Resize 25% and 60%
Frame 1: Resize 50%/Duplicate
Tiki torch: Resize 50%
Pineapple: Resize 25%nad 50%/Duplicate
Flower 4: Resize 25%/Duplicate/Resize 70%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name:
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #653d0c
Background: Pattern/Paper 7 from the kit
Stroke: 1.5
Type out your name.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise:
Intensity: 20
Mix checked
OK

Resize all layers 80%.
