Wild Whispers



Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the beautiful artwork of Greg Andrews which can be purchased from Up Your Art. You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Al Sandra here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 3 as a new layer.
Resize 75%
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube below the frame.
Move into position.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Soft Light.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
28: Resize 70%
24
56: Resize 40%/Free rotate Left 10 degrees
62: Resize 30%/Duplicate/Flip/Resize 70%
43: Resize 30%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 11 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

Resize all layers 80%.

Wishes in a Jar



Supplies

2 tubes of choice - I used the artwork of Anna Marine which can now be purchased from CDO. You must have a license to use.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 3 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Duplicate

Copy and paste Frame 5 as a new layer.
Resize 55%

Move all 3 frames into position - see my tag for reference.
The Left round frame should be below the right round frame in your layers pallet.

Highlight the Left round frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:
Use Default Settings.
Copy and paste Pent as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Center it over the paper.
Copy and paste Sparkles as a new layer.
Resize 25%
Position over the pent.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Highlight the Right round frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy an paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Apply the same Pool Shadow effect accept move the Intensity slider bar down to 80.
Copy and paste a tube as a new layer.
Move into position over the paper layer.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Change the Properties to Overlay.
Deselect.

Highlight the Square Frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
Copy and paste Paper 5 as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you want part of your tube to be shown outside of the frame then duplicate the tube and move above the frame in your layers pallet.
Highlight the original tube layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Highlight the copy of the tube layer.
Use your Eraser Tool and erase whatever part of the tube you don’t want to show.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Stars
Rivets: Resize 40%/Free rotate Left 90 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror
Dandelions: Resize 60%
Leaves 1: Resize 50%
Bow 2: Resize 25% and 60%/Duplicate/Mirror
Candle: Resize 50%
Jar: Resize 30%
So you won’t see the drop shadow through the jar-
Give the jar a drop shadow on a layer of its own.
Highlight the jar layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Contract by 1
Highlight the drop shadow layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Crop a little off the bottom of your canvas.

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Modify/Contract by 1
Apply the same Pool Shadow effect accept move the Intensity bar back up to 128.
Deselect.

Resize all layers 80%.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 600
OK
Flood fill the background layer white.
Delete the credit layer and Border Big Circle layer.

Highlight Big Circle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 - Glow:
Width: 5
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Dropoff: Fat
Color: White
OK

Highlight Smaller Circle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Border Small Circle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Move into a position you like.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Monochrome and Gaussian checked
Nosie: 43%
OK

Highlight Big Rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 3 as a new layer.
Move into the position you like.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Square layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Duplicate/Mirror
Use your arrow keys to move this layer over the 3 little rectangles on the right.
In your layers pallet move Bottom Rectangle layer over Middle Rectangle layer.
Merge Down.
Move this layer over Top Rectangle layer.
Merge Down.
All 3 little rectangles should now be on the same layer.
Use your Magic Wand and click on each rectangle layer.
Highlight the paper that’s above them.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Duplicate the paper layer.
Change the Properties to Hard Light.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position it over the large rectangle layer on the left side.
Duplicate/Mirror
Use your Arrow keys and move the duplicated/mirrored tube layer to the right - position it over the 3 little rectangles.
Highlight the merged 3 rectangles paper layer.
Use your Magic Wand and click anywhere outside of them.
Highlight the tube layer above them.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Hard Light.

Highlight Border Bottom Rectangle layer.
Merge Down.
Merge Down.
All 3 border rectangles should now be on the same layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Apply the same noise effect.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:
Use default settings accept move the Intensity Bar to 49.

Highlight your tube layer that’s position on the left side of your canvas.
Duplicate
Use your arrow keys to move it slightly to the right a little.
Move this layer below the original tube layer.
Highlight the Square paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the duplicated tube layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Highlight Line Square layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Lower the Opacity to about 63.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Beads: Resize 55%/Free rotate Left 90 degrees
Lace
Feather: Resize 50%/Free rotate Left 3 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%
Duplicate both feather layers/Mirror
Butterfly: Resize 30%/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%/Duplicate

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Resize all layers 80%.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 85%
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 600
OK
Open up Raster 1 and flood fill white.
Delete the following layers:
Top 4 layers
Pixels Words
Leaf
Word Art by Kristin
Pixel Words 1

Highlight Dotted Rectangles layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Dotted Circle layer.

Highlight Glitter Rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Monochrome and Gaussian checked
Nosie: 43%
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Glittered Circle layer.

Highlight Sm Rectangle 1 layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 3 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Move into a position you like.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Sm Rectangle 2 layer.

Highlight Rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Circle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 6 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Tap the delete key.
If you’re using the same tube as I am copy and paste the tiger as a new layer.
Move into a position you like.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you’re using the same tube as I did resize it 70%
Copy and paste the rifle as a new layer.
Resize 80%/Free rotate Right 110 degrees

Add your embellishments. I used:
Leaves: Resize 50%
Dried Leaves: Resize 40%/Duplciate/Mirror
Bow 6: Resize 25%/Duplicate/Mirror
Gum Leaves: Resize 70%
Camp fire: Resize 70%
Butterfly: Resize 35%/Free rotate Right 15 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%/Duplicate as many times as you like

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 95%
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

Resize all layers 80%.

Back 2 School



Supplies

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste 53 as a new layer.
Resize 80%
Use your Pick Tool and push the left side in so the frame measures approximately 300 pixels wide.

Copy and paste 55 as a new layer.
Resize 60%

Copy and paste 54 as a new layer.
Resize 80%
Free rotate Left 90 degrees
Move into position just above your white canvas.
Use your Pick Tool and pull the top down a bit and pull the left side out a bit.

Move all 3 frames into position.
Use your Pick Tool on the frame just above the white canvas to pull it out more if you have to.

The order in your layers pallet for the frames, from top to bottom should be:
Yellow Round frame.
Orange Rectangle frame
Pinkish/Red Rectangle frame

Highlight the Pinkish Red Frame layer.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Highlight the Orange Rectangle frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Highlight the Yellow circle frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Add the elements that go inside the yellow frame - Don’t worry about what overhangs the frame. We’ll clean that up in a bit:
19: Resize 40%
20: Resize 40%
21: Resize 40%

Once you have the elements in their position, highlight the round paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight each element layer and tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
36: Resize 70%/Free rotate Left 80 degrees
26: Resize 80%/Free rotate Right 60 degrees
25: Resize 80%/Free rotate Left 90 degrees
46: Resize 40%
42: Resize 30%
43: Resize 25%
15 & 16: Resize 25%
6: Resize 40%
2: Resize 25%
27: Resize 45%
17: Resize 25% and 80%
9: Resize 25%/Free rotate Left 7 degrees

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Crop your image.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Resize all layers 80%.
