Her Emo-tion

Supplies

1 tube of choice – I used the amazing artwork of VeryMany which can be purchased from Pics for Design.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Simply Glamorous here

Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the Original.
Delete the top 3 layers.

Highlight Large Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with #ff0d91.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Circle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Diamonds as a new layer.
Resize 80%
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #f894d6
Background: #ffffff
Set to Gradient –
Style: Sunburst
Invert checked

Highlight Small Circle 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with the gradient.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100
Opacity Drop off: Fat
Color: White
OK

Color Pallet:
Change the gradient –
Style:  Linear
Angle: 66

Highlight Oval Edge Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with the gradient.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move into position over the rectangle.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Use same settings

Highlight Rectangle 1 layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with #000000
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Random and Monochrome checked
Noise: 68
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Color Pallet:
Change the gradient settings:
Angle: 66
Repeat: 1
Invert unchecked

Highlight Rectangle 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with the gradient.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same Glow effect.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #ff0d91
Background:  #f894d6
Keep settings the same.

Highlight Rectangle 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with the gradient.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Glitter
Bow 1:  Resize 70%/Flip/Free Rotate Right 90 degrees
Heart 1:  Resize 35%/Mirror/Free Rotate Right 10 degrees
Heart:  Resize 35%/Duplicate
Sparkles:  Resize 40%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 18 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 15
OK
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your name.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 Glow:
Same Settings

Showcase

Supplies

“Gothic Girl” is a tagger size scrap kit created by Purple Kreations and can be downloaded from her blog here
Be sure to leave a thank you after downloading as it’s a small gesture for hard work given freely.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

From the Frames folder Copy and paste F 6 as a new layer.
Resize 65%
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Give the frame a drop shadow.

Close out your white background.
Merge Visible.
Reopen your white background.

New Raster layer below the merged layer.
Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.
Create a rectangle approximately 500 x 300 pixels.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
If you need to center it more behind the merged frame layer then deselect.
Center it behind the merged frame layer. 
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand. 
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Contract by 4.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II – Pool Shadow:
Use Default settings accept lower the Intensity bar down to 82.
OK
DO NOT DESELECT YET.

Copy and paste Barbed Wire as a new layer.
Resize 75%
Duplicate
Move both barbed wire layers it into position over the top and bottom of the purple rectangle – see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Use your Erase Tool and erase the ends that overhang the rectangle.
Deselect.

From the frames folder Copy and paste Frame 3 as a new layer.
Resize 70%
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Give the frame a drop shadow.
Merge Visible the frame and paper.
Duplicate the merged layer 3 times and move them into position – see my tag for reference.

From the frames folder Copy and paste Frame 4 as a new layer.
Resize 70%
Move into position – see my tag for reference.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Add your elements.  I used:
Skull Wings:  Resize 70%
Bottle Cap Key Chain:  Resize 60%
Wire 1:  Duplicate 3 x’s/Erase where you can see it overlaps
Sparkles

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Drop Off:  Fat
Color: White
OK

Resize all layers 80%

Mystical Journey

Supplies

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Image Canvas Size:
700 x 600
OK
Highlight the Background layer.
Flood fill white.
Delete the credit layer.

Highlight Rectangle 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Highlight Rectangle 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Copy and paste Groupings 2 Element as a new layer.
Resize 70%
Move into position – see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Change the Properties to Soft Light
Duplicate
Change the Properties to Multiply.
Lower the Opacity to about 34
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Stitching layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with #e6e6e6
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Circle 1 Back layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise: 25%
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Repeat the above step with Circle 2 Back and Circle 3 Back layers.

Highlight Circle 1 layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste 11 Into Selection.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II – Pool Shadow:
Use Default settings accept lower the Intensity bar to 27
Deselect.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Drop Off:  Fat
Color: White
OK

Repeat the above step with Circle 2 and Circle 3 layers.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Brad 3:  Resize 25%/Duplicate 3x’s
Tree 1:  Resize 90%
Floral 4:  Resize 65%
Tree 2:  Resize 65%
Floral 3:  Resize 40%
Bow 5:  Resize 25%/Mirror
Flower 2:  Resize 25%/Duplicate/Resize 80%
Flower 3:  Resize 25%/Duplicate/Resize 80%
Butterfly 1:  Resize 25% and 80%

Crop your Image.

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 105%
Merge Group.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #475687
Background: Pattern/Paper 9
Stroke: 1.0
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:



Resize all layers 80%
