Wanna Ride?

Supplies

1 tube of choice – I used the awesome artwork of Ismael Rac which can be purchased from his store here.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Nina Script here

Dee’s mask 18 here

Divine Intentionz template 447 here

Brush Strokes – Sprayed Strokes
Eyecandy 3.1 - Glow

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 85%
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 500
OK
Open up the background layer.
Flood fill white.
Delete the top 7 layers, Thin Rectangle 1, Thin Rectangle 2 layers.

Highlight Circle 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Wagon Wheel Into Selection.
Deselect
Delete the template layer.
Highlight Circle 2 layer.
Repeat the above step.

Open up Mini Frame.
Use your Selection Tool set on Rectangle and section off the area at the bottom of the frame.
Set the Foreground in your color pallet to Pattern.

Highlight Frame layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with the pattern.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise: 91%
OK

Highlight Copy of Frame layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Rounded Edge Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Copy and paste Mini Frame as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Use your Freehand Selection Tool set on Rectangle and create one bit rectangle around both openings.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Merge Visible the frame and paper.
In your layers pallet move the merged layer Rounded Edge Rectangle 2 template layer.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Rectangle 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Apply Brush Strokes – Sprayed Strokes:
Use Default settings.
Copy and paste Rodeo as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Position over the paper layer.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Soft Light.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper layer the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Rectangle 2 layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Thin Rectangle 3 layer.
Click on it with our Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Small Thin Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Copy of Small Thin Rectangle layer.
Repeat the above step.

Copy and paste Oval frame as a new layer.
Resize 65%
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the frame.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Luminance Legacy.
Lower the Opacity to about 34.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Ribbon 2:  Resize 50%/Duplicate/Mirror
Cactus:  Resize 70%
Fence:  Resize 70%/Duplicate
Ferns:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Mirror
Colt:  Resize 35%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste the preview Into Selection.
Deselect.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 20
OK
Apply the mask.
Use your Pick Tool to pull the sides out a little.
Merge Group.
Duplicate

Add your credits.

Add your name.
Rasterize the layer.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Drop off:  Fat
Color: #d6c08f

Resize all layers 80%

Stardancer

Supplies

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 85%
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 600
OK
Delete the top 7 layers, and layers 9, 10, and 11.

Highlight 16 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight 15 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 10 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight 14 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Element 31 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight 12 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 2 as a new layer.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise: 91%
OK
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight 7 layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight 13 layer.
Click on it with our Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – move into position over the paper.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Change the Properties to Overlay.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight 8 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste 10 Into Selection.
Deselect for now.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.  Move it into position in front of the frame; positioned so that it looks like it’s crawling out of the frame.
Duplicate the tube layer.
Move below the frame in your layers pallet.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer just above the paper.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Highlight the tube layer above the frame.
Use your Eraser Tool and erase whatever you don’t want to overhang the frame.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste Element 10 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Use your Target Tool and change the color to #553379.

Add your elements.  I used:
3:  Resize 90% (position behind the oval)
3 again:  Resize 70% (position behind the square frame.
36:  Resize 35%/Duplicate/Mirror
20:  Resize 80%
22:  Resize 25%/Duplicate
Element 1:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Mirror

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Use your Pick Tool to pull the top up a little.
Merge Group.
Use your Target Tool and change the color to the same as you used to change the star element.

Add your credits.

Add your name.

Resize all layers 80%

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 85%
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 600
OK
Delete the top 4 layers.

Highlight 10 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight 9 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight 8 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 27 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight 7 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 30 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight 6 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 28 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight 5 layer.
In your layers pallet:
Foreground: #ec63a8
Background: #b0654e

Make your Color Replacer Tool active.
Double Right click the mouse over the dotted line.

Highlight 4 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 29 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Repeat the above step with 3 layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Change the Properties to Overlay.
Move into position over both little squares.
Duplicate/In your layers pallet move above the other little square.

Highlight either little square paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer just above it.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Repeat the above step with the other tube layer.

Copy and paste your tube again as a new layer.
Position in front of the large square.

Add your elements.  I used:
Brush:  Resize 70%
Lace:  Resize 95%
Torn Heart 3:  Resize 10% and 50%/Free rotate Right 10 degrees/Duplicate/Duplicate and Mirror both hearts
Flower Dot Doodle:  Resize 85%/Duplicate/Mirror
Tree 1:  Resize 60%
Bird 1:  Resize 20%
Bird 2:  Resize 20%/Mirror
Butterfly 1:  Resize 20%/Duplicate/Mirror
Picot Bow 2:  Resize 60%/Flip/Mirror
Cherry Blossom 1:  Resize 25%
Cherry Blossom 2:  Resize 20%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 32 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 105%
Use the Pick Tool and pull the sides out a little.
Merge Group.

Add your credits.

Resize all layers 80%
