Magic Under the Sea

Supplies

1 tube of choice – I used the beautiful artwork of Rachael Tallamy which can be purchased from Up Your Art.  You must have a license to use. 

Font of choice - I used Before the Rain here

Weescotlass Mask 208 here

Divine Intentionz Template 316 here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close the original.
Image/Canvas Size:
750 x 650
Highlight the background layer.
Flood fill white.
Delete the following layers:
Top 2 layers, Hearts, Pixel Kinky Valentine, Hearts, Thin Rectangle, Rectangle 2, and Pixel Words layer.

Highlight Glittered Rectangle layer.
Use your Target Tool and change the color to #769c2b.
Adjust/Brightness Contrast
Brightness: -130
Contrast: 15
OK

Repeat the above step with Glittered Circle and Glittered Circle 2 layers.

Highlight Rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 12 as a new layer.
Resize 15%
Move into position.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Uniform and Monochrome checked
Noise: 20%
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Circle 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same Noise effect.

Highlight Circle 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Element 35 as a new layer.
Resize 20%
Change the Properties to Soft Light.
Move into position – see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Gradient Circle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer over the paper layer.
Change the Properties to Overlay.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Small Circle layer accept place a different area of the tube within the circle.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
6: Resize 10% and 60%/Use your Target Tool to change the color if you like.
36:  Resize 10% and 80%/Duplicate/Flip/Resize 70%/Duplicate both flower layers
34:  Resize 10%
7:  Resize 30%
17:  Resize 30%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste the Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 115%
Merge Group.

Add your credits.

Add your name.

Resize all layers 75%

Spring is in the Air

 
Supplies

1 tube of choice – I used the amazing artwork of Katerina Koukiotis which can be purchased from PSP Tube Stop.  You must have a license to use.  The easter bunny and basket used in this tutorial are bonus layers that are included with the tube purchased from PSP Tube Stop.


Font of choice - I used DK Monsieur LeChat here

Supplies here which were all created by me with the exception of the mask:
Paper, Branch, Hummingbird.

Plug Ins used:
Eyecandy 3.1 - Glow

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste the frame as a new layer.
Click inside of each square with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste the paper that I supplied Into Selection.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. If you’re using the tube I did, do not resize.
Copy and paste the Rabbit-basket layer from the tube as a new layer.
Resize 60%

Merge Visible the tube and rabbit-basket.
Duplicate the merged layer.
Move into position below the frame – see my tag for reference.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the merged layer below the frame.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties of the tube to Overlay.

Add the remaining elements that have been supplied:
Duplicate the branch: Move to the right.
Paste the branch again/Mirror/Lower the Opacity to about 10

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste the paper Into Selection.
Deselect.
Duplicate
Change the Properties to Multiply.
Merge Down.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate

Copy and paste the Chicks layer from the tube as a new layer.
Move into position behind the branches – look closely at my tag and you’ll see the faint image of the chicks near the top of the frame in the background.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Crop your image.

Add your credits.

Add your name.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Drop Off: Fat
Color: #ffffff

Resize all layers 80%

Your Fantasy

Supplies

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Image/Canvas Size
700 x 650
OK
Open up the background layer and flood fill white.
Delete the credit layer and Word Art by Missy layer.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #ff6fb7
Background: #000000

Make your Color Replacer Tool active.
Highlight Dotted Line 2 layer.
Hold your mouse over it.  Double right click twice.

Highlight Raster 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 11 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Grass as a new layer.
Move into position over the paper layer  - see my tag for reference.
Change the Properties to Burn.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Frame Background 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II – Pool Shadow:
Use Default Settings.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move into position over the paper.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Change the Properties to Overlay.

Repeat the above step with Frame Background 2 layer.

Highlight Circle 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II – Pool Shadow:
Use same settings.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same Inner Bevel.

Highlight Circle 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Apply DSB Flux – Bright Noise:
Intensity: 36
Darker checked
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Circle 3 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Apply the Pool Shadow Effect again – same settings.
Copy and paste your close up image as a new layer.
Move into position.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Copy and paste Bricks as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Change the Properties to Burn.
Move into position behind the image so that you can see it in the background of the circle.  Duplicate and move into position again if you have to.
To each brick wall layer tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Highlight the paper layer.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Drop Off:  Fat
Color: #000000
OK

Highlight Hearts layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Apply DSB Flux – Bright Noise:
Same Settings.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Hearts 2 layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Leaves 1:  Resize 70%/Free Rotate Left 90 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror
Paper Heart Trail:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Mirror
Bird:  Resize 50%
Butterfly:  Resize 25%/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%
Branches:  Erase what sticks out at the bottom

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate

Add your credits.

Add your name.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Drop Off: Fat
Color: #ffffff

Resize all layers 80%
