Unless - Forum Set



Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the wonderful artwork of Mitzi- Sato-Wiuff which can be purchased from PSP Tube Stop.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Parseltongue here

Plug Ins used:
Mura's Meister - Cloud
DSB Flux - Bright Noise
AAA Frames - Photo Frames
Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow

My Supplies here
It is to be used for this tutorial only.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let's get started ~♥~

Open up a blank 550 x 200 canvas.

Color Pallet:
Foreground:  #c96f26
Background:  #962a1a  

Change your foreground color of your color pallet to Gradient.
Style: Linear
Angle: 10
Repeats: 0

Flood fill your canvas with the gradient.

Open up the template I supplied.
Copy and paste it as a new layer.
Click on each line with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Invert your gradient and flood fill.
Effects/Text Effects/Blinds:
Match your settings to mine.

Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

From the tube, highlight the Steampunk Kitten layer and copy.
Paste it as a new layer on your working canvas.
Resize 65% - Change the Properties to Soft Light.
Duplicate/Mirror
Copy each kitten layer and place in opposite corners - see my tag for reference.

Color Pallet:
Foreground:  #e39948  
Background:  #ffd890  

Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.
Section out the area between the thin rectangles.
New Raster layer below the rectangles.
Apply Mura's Meister - Cloud:
Change the Grain to 9.
OK
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 5
OK
DSB Flux - Bright Noise:
Mix checked
Intensity: 5
OK

Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer above the cloud layer.
Change the Properties to Soft Light.

Paste your tube as a new layer again and move to the top of your layers pallet.
Move the tube into position - see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste as new layers both kittens that came with the tube.
Resize both 65%
Copy and paste the flower I supplied.  
Duplicate the flower
See my tag for placement of all elements.

Merge Visible all layers.
Shift + D.
It should now be duplicated.

Working with the duplicated layer:
Image/Add Borders:

Highlight your Original canvas.
Copy

Highlight your duplicated canvas (the one iwth the border on it)
Paste Into Selection.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 5
OK
Apply AAA Frames:
Use Default Settings.
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Expand by 2.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with Metal Brass:
Use same settings
Selections/Modify/Contract by 3.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Apply Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:
Use Default settings

Add your Copyright.

Add your name.
Foreground: #341600
Background: #960f06
Stroke: 1.5

Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel 2x's:

Merge Flatten.
Save.

Copy

To make the Avatar:

Open up a 125 x 125 blank canvas.
Paste your banner as a new layer.
Move it into a position you like - see my avatar for reference.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with your Foreground color.
Select All.
Selections/Modify/Contract by 2.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Type the first letter of your name.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel 2x's.

Add your copyright.

Save.

Born to Fly

Animation Shop

"Born to Fly" is a tagger size scrap kit created by me, Bev of HorsePlay's Pasture Designs and can be purchased from any of my stores here.  

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste El18 as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Free rotate Left 15%

Paste the element again as a new layer.
Resize 25%
Free rotate Right 15 degrees

Paste the element again as a new layer.
Resize 30%

See my tag as reference for placement of all 3 frames.

Highlight the top frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Copy and paste El75 as a new layer.  Leave where it is or move into a position you like better.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Highlight the bottom frame.
Repeat the above steps.

Copy and paste El 55 as a new layer.
Resize 5%
Duplicate 3'x and place each one on the corners of the bottom frame.

Paste the element again as a new layer.
Resize 5%/Free rotate Right 15 degrees
Duplicate 3x's and place at the corners of the top frame.

Paste the element again as a new layer.
Resize 10% and 70%
Place at each corner of the large frame.

Highlight the large frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Duplicate/Change the Properties to Multiply.
Copy and paste El36 as a new layer below the frame.
Resize 80%
Move into position - see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Add the following elements below the frame.
El 14: Resize 25% and 90%
El 28:  Resize 20% - Rename this layer Witch
EL 27:  Resize 20%/Mirror - Rename this layer Ghost

Place the witch so that you can barely see it fly from behind the house.
Place the ghost so that you can barely see it within the frame.
Close both of these element layers out for now.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
See my tag for placement.

Add your elements.  I used:
El 15:  Resize 60%
El 12:  Resize 60%
El 40:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Resize 80%
El 38:  Resize 30%/Mirror
El 29:  Resize 50%
El30:  Resize 70%
El1:  Resize 50%/Mirror
El16:  Resize 30%
El34:  Yellow: Resize 45%/Free Rotate Left 100 degrees - Orange: Resize 40% - Maroon: Resize 45%
El74:  Resize 80%
El76:  Resize 40%/Free rotate Right 30 degrees/Duplicate/Resize 60%/Mirror
El 35:  Resize 40%/Duplicate as many times as you like and resize as you like

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 105%
Merge Group.

Add your copyright.

Add your Name:
Color Pallet - 
Foreground: #000000
Background: #443231
Stroke: 1.5
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel 2x's:

Decorate your name with some candy corn if you like.

Open up the Witch and Ghost layers.
Copy Merge

~Time to Animate~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Back in PSP.
Move your witch forward in the path you want it to fly.
Copy Merge.

Back in AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back in PSP.
Move your witch forward again.
Copy Merge.

Back in AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Repeat the above steps until your witch "flies out of sight".
TIP:  Keep your eye on the witch to be sure it can't been seen outside of the frame.  
If it does then erase what shows.
Copy Merge
Paste it into AS like you've been and when you return to PSP then hit the Undo button until the entire witch appears.
Then continue moving the witch forward as you were.

Once your witch has flown "out of sight" then open up your ghost layer.
Repeat the same steps you did with the witch.

Once you have all the frames copied into AS and your witch flies this way, the ghost floats that way:
Highlight Frame 1.
Edit/Copy
We want a pause in between the witch taking flight and the ghost floating so look for frame where you see the witch last.
Highlight that frame.
Edit/Paste/After Current frame
Animation/Frame Properties:
Change the Display time to 175.

Highlight the first frame.
Animation/Frame Properties:
Change the Display time to 175.

View your animation.
If you're happy with it then save.

Spooky Nightmare


Supplies Needed  

1 tube of choice – I used the wonderful artwork of Helena Reis which can be purchased from PSP Tube Stop.  You must have a license to use. 

Font of choice – I used Yataghan here

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 3 as a new layer.
Resize 70%
Move to the right side of your canvas a little.

Copy and paste Paper 10 as a new layer.
Resize 20%
Duplicate 2x's
Move the round frame and all 3 papers into position - see my tag for reference.

Merge Visible the paper layers.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Random and Monochrome checked
Noise 74%
OK
Click anywhere outside of the merged layer with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Contract by 6.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Tower 1 as a new layer.
Change the Properties to Soft Light and lower the Opacity to about 97.
Move into position over the paper layer.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Paste Tower 1 as a new layer.
Resize 75%
Move into position - see my tag for reference.

Highlight the round frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Mirror
Deselect.

Copy and paste Tree 2 as a new layer.
Resize 80%/Mirror
Move into position - see my tag for reference.
Duplicate the tree and move below the frame.
Highlight the original tree and erase what overhangs the frame.
Highlight the duplicated tree and erase what sticks out from the frame.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Moon 1:  Resize 30%
Cloud 1:  Resize 60%
Pumpkin 2:  Resize 35%
Cat 2:  Resize 40%
Bat 2:  Resize 30%/Duplicate/Resize 70%

Highlight the frame layer.
New Raster layer.
Use your Selection Tool set on Rectangle and create a rectangle approximately 175 x 5450 pixels.
Copy and paste Paper 10 Into Selection.
Add the same Noise effect.
Selections/Modify/Contract by 6.
Copy and paste Paper 5 as a new layer.
Resize 70% (You may have to adjust that number)
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Selections/Invert
Apply Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:
Use Default settings accept lower the Intensity bar to 66.
Deselect.

New raster layer.
Create a thin rectangle that run the full length down the middle of the square frames.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.   

Add your copyrights.

Add your Name:
Color Pallet - 
Foreground: #000000
Background: #fa7018
Stroke: 1.5
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

If you would like your tag saved without a white background then close the white background out.
Merge Visible.
Resize 500 x 500 pixels - resize all layers checked.
Save as a png.
