Lust


Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the wonderful artwork of Arthur Crowe and can be purchased here.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice – I used Rat Infested Mailbox here

Trese Mask 379 here

Mura’s Meister – Copies
Xero - Porcelain

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 90%
Highlight and Open the background layer.
Flood fill white.
Delete the top layer and 11 layer.

Highlight template layer 1.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight template layer 2.
Click on each Rectangle with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight template layer 3.
Copy and paste Element 20 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Move into position over the template layer.
Delete the frame and move it into position over template layer 4.
Delete template layers 3 and 4.
To each Frame:
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Highlight template layer 5.
Click on each Rectangle with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight template layer 6.
Click on each Rectangle with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight template layer 7.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight template layer 9.
Merge Down.
Both thin rectangle templates should now be on the same layer.
Click on each one with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the thin rectangles a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight template layer 10.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect for now.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Resize as you like and then apply Mura’s Meister – Copies:
Choose Line
Change Number to 7.
OK
Highlight the template layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer you applied Mura’s Meister to and tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Apply Xero – Porcelain:
Use Default Settings.
OK
Delete the template layer.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #f04e68
Background: #090b0e

Highlight template layer 12.
Make your Color Replacer Tool active and double right click your mouse over the dotted lines.
It should have changed to the color black.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
14:  Resize 50%
3:  Resize 25%
4:  Resize 30%
15:  Resize 20%
18:  Resize 60%
8:  Resize 20%/Free rotate Left 80 degrees
9:  Resize 60%/Mirror

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 10
OK
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground and Background: #000000
Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.

Resize all layers 85%.

Feeling Lucky


Supplies Needed

Font of choice – I used Queen of Today here

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 600
OK
Highlight the background layer.
Flood fill white.
Delete the credit layer, 8, 7, & 5

Highlight layer 1.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight template layer 2.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 16 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight template layer 3.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Stroke Length: 24
Sharpness: 6
Strength: 1
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight template layer 4.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight template layer 6.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 16 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer over the paper.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Change the Properties of the tube to Overlay.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste El 13 as a new layer.
Resize 5%
Apply Mura’s Meister – Copies:
Choose Encircle.
Change the top 3 numbers to -
Number: 48
Shift X: 33
Shift Y:  38
OK
Move the brad circle into position over the small circle – see my tag for reference.
Duplicate the brad circle.
Free rotate Right 4 degrees.

Copy and paste El 13 again.
Resize 5%
Apply Mura’s Meister – Copies again but change the numbers to –
Number: 48
Shift X: 43
Shift Y: 48
OK
Move this brad circle into position over the other black circle paper – see my tag for reference.
Duplicate
Free rotate Right 4 degrees.

Add your elements.  I used:
El 32:  Resize 30%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate/Duplicate and flip all 3 flowers
El 2:  Resize 60%
El 36:  Resize 50%
El 24:  Resize 30%/Free rotate Left 30 degrees
El 18:  Resize 70%
El 17:  Resize 70%
El 7:  Resize 60%/Duplicate/Mirror
El 8:  Resize 50%
El 1:  Resize 45%/Mirror
El 19:  Resize 50%/Mirror
El 45:  Resize 60%/Duplicate

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 105.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground & Background: #0b181f
Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Apply Eyecandy 4000 – Gradient Glow:

Basic Tab:
Glow Width: 3
Soft Corners: 25
Overall Opacity: 100
Draw Only Outside Selection checked

Color Tab:
Choose Fat
Color: #fca917
OK

Resize all layers 85%.

Lucky Star



Supplies Needed

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Open up the background layer.
Delete Rasters 1 (the credit layer – the very top layer), 6, and 5.

Highlight Raster 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 2 layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Raster 3 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 7.
New Raster layer below the template layer.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Random and Monochrome checked
Noise: 30%
OK
Deselect.
Highlight the template layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 10 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 4 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 7layer.
Click on both rectanagles with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect for now.
Add the following elements to both rectangles – see my tag for reference, and don’t worry about what overhangs the sides.  We’ll clean that up in a bit.
To the Left rectangle:
Scattered Stars:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/move both element layers into position over both rectangles.
Bed:  Resize 35%
Lamp:  Resize 35%

To the Right rectangle:
Moon:  Resize 25%
Tree:  Resize 80%
Tree again:  Resize 30%

Once you have all the elements in position –
Highlight the rectangle paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight each element and tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Merge Visible the rectangle paper layer and all the elements you just placed above it.  An easy way to do this is highlight the top element and keep merging down until the paper and elements are all on the same layer.
Once you’ve done that apply Xero – Porcelain to the merged layer:
Use Default settings.

Highlight Raster 8 layer.
Click on each frame with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Use same settings.
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Delete the template layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Swirl 2:  Resize 55%/Duplicate/Mirror
Clover:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%
String of Stars:  Resize 50%
Cloud:  Resize 50%
Flower 1:  Resize 35%
Train:  Resize 50%/Erase what overhangs the paper
Grass:  Resize 60%
Clock:  Resize 30%
Lucky Sheep:  Resize 30%/Mirror
Lucky Dragon:  Resize 45%
Lucky Doll:  Resize 25%
Story Book:  Resize 30%
Bow 3:  Resize 25%

Crop you image so that the space at the bottom matched the space at the top.

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 16 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 110%.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground & Background: #787692
Type your name.
Tilt it slightly.
Convert to Raster layer.
Apply Eyecandy 4000 – Gradient Glow:
Basic Tab:
Glow Width: 3.00
Soft Corners: 25%
Overall Opacity: 100%
Draw Only Outside Selection checked

Color Tab:
Choose Fat
Color: #fefddd
OK

Resize all layers 85%.
